What to Expect During Your Initial Consultation
Step 1
Initial Intake
Upon arrival to our office, you will be guided by a medical assistant or nurse into one of our state-of-the-art, comfortable treatment rooms. Per our COVID protocol, you will be asked to wash your hands and perform a sanitizing mouth rinse. Your medical assistant or nurse will conduct your initial medical information intake. Finally, one of our board-certified dermatologists will sit down with you to discuss your skin concerns and goals for seeking dermatologic care.
Step 2
Physician Examination
With your consent, baseline photographs will be taken to guide an examination of your skin and offer a reference point for comparing before-and-after treatment results.
Step 3
Individualized Treatment Plan
Once you and your physician have come to an understanding of your concerns, priorities, and goals, the physician will outline a care plan for you. The plan will include short-term and long-term treatment recommendations, as well as a personalized skincare routine including products available for purchase in the office. If no contraindications are determined, treatment can be performed during your initial consultation.
COVID Safety: All staff have received their COVID vaccines and booster shots. We request proof of COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test result from all our patients. All staff members wear masks at all times and we require that our patients do as well. If you forget to bring a mask to your appointment, one will be provided for you. We ask all patients to wash their hands and perform a mouth rinse at the beginning of every appointment. We do not permit additional guests in the office, except for guardians of minors.
Payment: We do not participate in nor accept any insurance payment plans. Full payment for services rendered are due at the time of service. We require a credit card on file to reserve your appointment. There is a consultation fee associated with your first appointment that will be waived if treatment is performed during the consult. We do not offer weekend, evening, nor virtual appointments. We require a 48 business hour cancellation notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee charged to the card on file.
