Silicone Injection Removal
Silicone injections can become inflamed and painful, leading to patient discomfort. In unfortunate circumstances, silicone injections can become disfiguring and dangerous due to intense swelling and infection. Rarely, they can even be life threatening due to injection of liquid silicone close to blood vessels that travel through the bloodstream and spread to other parts of the body, including the lungs, the heart, or the brain. In these extreme cases, blood clots, strokes, and other serious issues can develop. Many people develop unwanted skin bumps or nodules as a result of silicone injections. These bumps can be safely minimized/eliminated with specialized injections of 5-fluorouracil (5FU) and corticosteroid (Kenalog).

5FU/Kenalog Injections
5FU and Kenalog are injectable treatments that may be used separately or in combination, depending on the treatment objective. 5FU/Kenalog mixtures improve the appearance of raised keloid scars when injected directly into the scar. Kenalog eliminates pimples or reduces the appearance of raised bumps from silicone injections when injected alone directly into the pimple or silicone.
